We’ve been building our OUTWORK community over the past few months and have met a lot of amazing people working in so many different fields (sometimes literally!). As well as the face-to-face conversations we treasure, we are also developing an online community. We hope this will help us keep in touch with our members and for our members to connect with each other even if they can’t get along to a pop-out day.

There are two ways our members can get to our virtual community. The first is through the members tab on our website, the second is through an app we use called Passport. This is available in Apple’s App Store and on Google Play.

The obvious advantage of the app is that it works beautifully on your phone. Just like the members’ area on the website, it has a host of useful information for our members.

The Welcome page gives you the latest comments from the Community Feed and details of our newest members. The Passport app allows you to book for any of our events and members can access their account details, too.

The most important part of the app (and the members’ area on the website) for us is the Directory section. As a member, it’s a great way to promote your services to other members or just tell others a bit about yourself.

The app allows you to contact other members through public or private chats. It's a great place to connect with other OUTWORK members, even if you can’t make it along in person very often.

Of course, if members prefer, they can keep their profile private, but we’re excited to see our community grow as more and more people make their profile public to other members. The members’ directory and messaging functions are available exclusively to OUTWORK members.

If you haven’t become a member yet, it’s still free to join. That means that even if you can’t make a pop-out date you can still be involved and join our growing online community. You can sign up FREE here. If you’re already a member, make your profile public and help us grow our virtual community – the more, the merrier!
